• Minimum load of 3W: Since the module draws its power from the leakage current of the lamp, a minimum load of 3W of (LED) lighting is required to prevent flickering. If you switch a very light LED lamp and it starts to flicker? Then a separate bypass module will solve this immediately.
• Zigbee End-Device (Not a router): To save power, the ZBMINIL2 functions as an 'End-Device'. This means it does not amplify or extend your Zigbee mesh network.
• No Detach Relay Mode: Are you looking for a module for smart lights that always need to be powered? Then the SONOFF ZBMINIR2 (with neutral wire) is a better choice.
• Not for fans or heavy appliances: The module is exclusively designed for normal lighting (up to 1500W). Absolutely do not use it for devices with a built-in motor (such as bathroom exhaust fans or standalone fans). The peak voltage at motor startup can immediately damage the small module.

How do I know if I have a neutral wire in my flush-mounted box?

Always switch off the power in the fuse box first and unscrew your switch. If you see a blue wire in the back of the box in addition to the brown and black wires, then you have a neutral wire. If you only see brown and black, then this ZBMINIL2 is the perfect solution for you.

Can I install the ZBMINIL2 myself?
