🔍 How does the sensor work?

The SNZB-04P consists of two parts: the transmitter and a magnet. When the door or window closes, the two parts come close together and the sensor registers "closed". As soon as the distance becomes greater than 20mm, the sensor switches to "open" and immediately sends a signal to the hub. Simple, reliable, and lightning-fast.

🛡️ Built-in tamper-alert – extra security

A unique feature is the tamper alert. If an intruder removes both the sensor and the magnet at the same time, the open/closed status does not change – but the tamper button detects the removal and still triggers an intrusion alert. This triggers a siren on the gateway and sends a push notification to your smartphone.

🔔 Adjustable "door left open too long" notification

Via the eWeLink app, you can set it to receive a notification if a door remains open longer than a time you set. Ideal for preventing you from accidentally leaving the refrigerator, back door, or garage door open. For this, you need a SONOFF ZBBridge-P, NSPanel Pro, or iHost.

How do I install the SNZB-04P?
Remove the protective film from the 3M adhesive layer, align the marks on the transmitter and magnet, and stick both parts to the door or window opening. Closing distance ≤ 20mm.

Is the battery included?
Yes! For first use, pull the insulating strip from the CR2477 battery and the sensor is immediately active.

How does the tamper-alert work?
If the sensor is removed from the wall, the built-in tamper button detects this and immediately sends an alarm – even if the door is closed.

Does it work with Home Assistant?
Yes, via Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA with e.g. a ZBDongle-E.

How do I pair the sensor?
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes slowly. The sensor will be in pairing mode for 180 seconds.
