Description

Advanced Presence Detection

The Sensy-One E1 Pro Multi Sense is an advanced mmWave multi-sensor powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) or USB-C and suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting. Featuring the Hi-Link LD2460 microwave module, it detects the presence of up to five people simultaneously , including their precise position, distance, and movement in real time. The sensor offers a range of up to 6 meters in side mode with a 120° horizontal field of view, while ceiling mode provides full 360° coverage with a diameter of up to 8 meters.

Modular Air Quality Monitoring

For spaces where air quality is crucial, you can expand the E1 Pro with an optional Sensirion SCD40 CO₂ sensor , which provides true carbon dioxide measurements via NDIR technology down to 40,000 ppm. This module also measures temperature and humidity, and automatically compensates for air pressure to ensure accurate measurements. In addition, a BME688 air quality add-on will be available soon for comprehensive eCO₂, VOC, IAQ, and gas resistance measurements.

Intelligent Light and UV Sensing

The integrated Lite-On LTR-390 sensor measures ambient light in lux and UV index, allowing the E1 Pro to understand actual lighting conditions. This goes beyond simple on/off detection and allows you to have lighting automations respond naturally to daylight, cloud cover, and sun exposure for smarter lighting, shading, and energy efficiency.

Precision Through Configurable Zones

With three configurable detection zones and one exclusion zone, you can determine exactly where presence triggers automation and where it doesn't. You can define each zone by drawing a polygon with up to eight points. The sensor operates with adjustable sensitivities (High, Medium, Low) and offers an update rate of approximately 30 milliseconds for immediate and stable detection.

Direct Feedback and Complete Control

Four RGB LEDs on the front and a built-in piezo buzzer (80-90 dB) provide immediate visual and audible feedback. Whether it's presence detection, alerts, or system status, all feedback is fully configurable via Home Assistant automations , allowing you to decide when, how, and whether the device communicates.

Compatibility: Home Assistant

The E1 Pro runs on ESPHome firmware and integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant thanks to the dedicated Home Assistant add-on, which lets you build interactive 2D and 3D floor plans, visualize live occupancy, and analyze heatmaps of motion patterns.

Flexible Connectivity

The sensor communicates primarily via Ethernet for a stable, reliable connection. Power can be supplied via PoE or USB-C , making the device suitable for various installation scenarios. Wi-Fi support is also available and can be activated with a simple firmware update. Optional Bluetooth proxy support allows the sensor to act as a bridge for nearby BLE devices, supporting systems such as Bermuda and ESPresense.

Example Automation

Imagine installing the E1 Pro on the ceiling of your living room. You configure three zones—one around the sofa, one by the dining table, and an exclusion zone by the fan. When someone sits down on the sofa (even quietly), the lighting automatically switches to ambient mode and adjusts the brightness based on the measured lux value. If the optional CO₂ sensor detects that the air quality falls below the desired level (for example, above 800 ppm), the mechanical ventilation automatically increases. Leaving the living room to head to the dining table? The sensor tracks your movement and adjusts the lighting per zone, while the exclusion zone ensures that the rotating fan doesn't trigger false alarms.
