FIBARO Smoke Sensor 2

The Fibaro Z-Wave plus Smoke Sensor is a universal Z-Wave optical smoke detector. The compact detector has two alarm indicators, a built-in siren and an RGB LED indicator. The Fibaro Smoke Sensor can be powered by a battery (lasts about 3 years). Smoke alarm is triggered by a built-in siren, flashing LED lights and by the commands that are sent to the Z-Wave network. The message can also be forwarded to the ALARM system or possibly the Fire alarm system via designated ports.

The optical detector can detect smoke in the early stages, often before there are flames and the temperature rises. For example, cigarette smoke can already be detected. The built-in temperature sensor can also send an alarm if a preset temperature is exceeded. Fibaro smoke sensor is designed in such a way that it can be installed both on the ceiling and on the wall. With the built-in LED, various statuses can be displayed, such as smoke/fire alarm, device status, range of z-wave network.

As soon as a fire breaks out in the room where the smoke detector is located, the smoke detector will notice this from the first second. The smoke detector then reports this to the Home Center 2, which then carries out the actions you have set. For example, you can use (red) LED strips to set out an evacuation route as soon as fire is detected by the Fibaro smoke detector.
With a diameter of only 65 mm and a height of 28 mm, this smoke detector also includes a recording function, which records and protects important data in the event of a fire.
