The new Fibaro Single Switch 2 (1*2.5 KW) flush-mounted switch is a single switch module suitable for both standard Z-Wave and the subsequent Z-Wave Plus standard. This small module can be installed behind any switch or socket, allowing you to control connected devices (such as light fixtures or sockets) via Z-Wave and measure energy consumption . It also allows you to continue using your existing light switch.
If you want to get more out of it, you can replace the on/off switch with a pulse switch (with pulses you can send more commands, for example 3 clicks to start a scene). With almost every brand it is possible to replace only the internal workings of the switch, so you do not have to replace the entire wall switch. Of course, a pulse switch is not a requirement and it also works with a normal on/off switch.
Single Switch 2 has a maximum load capacity of 2500 Watts and is equipped with current measurement.
It is important to note that the Fibaro Single Switch 2 is not capable of switching different voltages (which is possible with the Fibaro Relay Series).
