The "Smart meter cable USB-P1" is specially designed to seamlessly connect your smart meter to your Home Assistant hardware. With a P1 connection on one side that plugs directly into your smart meter, and a USB connection on the other side, this cable creates a simple and reliable link between your digital energy meter and your Home Assistant system.

Easy installation

With a plug-and-play design, installing the smart meter cable is a breeze. Connect it to the P1 port and the USB port of your Home Assistant HUB and install the DSMR Smart Meter integration. For most meters, the necessary power is supplied directly via the P1 port, but if this is not the case, there is an option to use an external power supply.
This smart meter cable supports DSMR 3, 4 and 5 protocols, but also works with SMR and ESMR meters. This makes the cable suitable not only for all Dutch smart meters, but also for the Belgian digital meter.

Extensive data and smart integration in Home Assistant

Gain insight into your energy and gas consumption with a clear history, so you can always go back to analyze your consumption patterns. Solar panel energy fed back into the grid is also registered! Based on your real-time consumption data, you can set up automations and alerts.
