Description
This DS18B20 temperature sensor with a direct digital output makes temperature measurement incredibly easy; the cable length is 1 meter. These sensors, which are already calibrated by the manufacturer, provide direct digital temperature readings without the need for an A/D converter. All sensors consist of a digital thermometer and offer additional features such as a thermostat, programmable digital thermostat, and memory.
The DS18B20 is a Dallas one-wire device, meaning its input and output are on the same pin. Multiple one-wire devices can be connected to the same pins.
DS18B20 waterproof specifications:
– Waterproof with 1 meter long cable
– Unique 1-Wire interface requires only 1 pin for communication
– Unique 64-bit serial code stored in an integrated ROM
– Can be powered from data line.
– Power supply range is 3.0 V to 5.5 V
– Measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C
– ± 0.5 °C accuracy from -10 °C to +85 °C
