The DIYANI Smart Dongle 1P is designed for strong and stable Zigbee range in demanding homes and offices. The combination of the EFR32MG21 Zigbee SoC , a +20 dBm RF amplifier , and a 5 dBi high-gain omni antenna delivers long-range performance of up to approximately 250 meters in open field (indoor practice depends on environment). The dongle works out of the box with ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT and comes with Zigbee coordinator firmware based on EZNet 7.4.5 , making it easy to set up a reliable mesh network. Updating the firmware is easy and can be done via Home Assistant or Silabs Firmware Builder (choose the SMLIGHT SLZB-07 device profile). If desired, the dongle can also be flashed with Thread firmware to function as a Thread Border Router. Thanks to the CP2102N USB-serial controller, the connection is stable and widely compatible with different systems.
