The Shelly EM Gen3 is the next-generation smart energy meter that gives you everything you need to monitor your energy consumption and generation in detail. The Shelly EM Gen3 accurately measures two separate channels up to 120A, making it perfect for simultaneously measuring your home's total energy consumption and the output of your solar panels . All data is displayed in real time in the user-friendly Shelly app. The built-in floating switch also allows you to control an external contactor to automatically switch on or off heavy equipment or your charging station.

What's new in Gen3?

The Gen3 is a significant step forward. It's equipped with a powerful ESP-Shelly-C38F chip with 8MB of memory . This ensures faster performance and makes the EM Gen3 ready for a future Matter update! Thanks to the addition of Bluetooth , connecting to your Wi-Fi network is a breeze. It also now supports advanced protocols like MQTT with SSL , webhooks, and scripting —a dream for any smart home enthusiast. Even the terminals have been improved, so you can now easily connect 2.5mm² wires.

Note: One 50A current clamp is included as standard. If you want to measure two circuits , you must order an additional current clamp (50A or 120A) separately.

• Fibaro: As with other Shelly devices, integration with Fibaro is technically possible via Virtual Devices that communicate via API calls (HTTP or RPC). This does require manual configuration and is less plug-and-play.
