🏠 Seamless integration with Home Assistant

After a one-time configuration via the LinknLink app, the eMotion Max communicates fully locally with Home Assistant via MQTT. Motion2MQTT (presence) and IR2MQTT (infrared) are built-in, no extra integration or cloud traffic needed for your automations. All entities appear directly in Home Assistant: zones, person counts, light intensity, and IR control. Additionally, the sensor is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

⚡ Practical automation example

Set up your open living room with two zones: zone 1 is the lounge area, zone 2 is the dining table. As soon as someone is detected in zone 1 and it's darker than 40 lux, Home Assistant switches on the mood lighting to 60%. If the same person moves to the dining table in zone 2, the dining table light automatically switches on. If everyone leaves the room, the sensor waits 3 minutes and everything, including the TV via IR, turns off. This way, you don't have to think about anything.

🔧 Installation

Connect the USB-C cable to a 5V/2A adapter (not included), download the LinknLink app, and follow the wizard. The device easily mounts to the wall or ceiling with the included mounting hardware. Then, add it to Home Assistant via the MQTT integration. Set up interference zones in the app to exclude plants, curtains, or pets from detection.
