Description
Are your Joy-Con controllers constantly falling off your Nintendo Switch? Is the console no longer recognizing one of your controllers? Or are they loose and wobbling during gameplay? Then the Joy-Con rail slider on the side of your console is probably faulty. These essential components provide both the physical and electronic connection between your controllers and the console.
This original rail slider with flex cable is a direct replacement for the original Nintendo part. It's located on either the left or right side of your Switch console and consists of a metal rail for the Joy-Con to slide into, plus a flex cable that provides the electrical connection. When ordering, you can choose between the left or right model —both have different cable lengths and are not interchangeable.
The part is suitable for Nintendo Switch V1 (HAC-001) and Nintendo Switch V2 (HAC-001-01) .
Please note: This part is not compatible with the Nintendo Switch OLED, which uses a different rail system.
Difference between left and right:
- Left rail slider : Has a longer flex cable that runs under the motherboard
- Right rail slider : Has a shorter flex cable and is easier to install
Note: Replacing these parts requires completely disassembling your Nintendo Switch console. You'll need specialized tools such as a Y00 tri-wing screwdriver and a Phillips #00 screwdriver . This is a moderate to advanced repair.
